New Fabric Friday

This week we have a beautiful new collection from Camelot Cottons in the shop. It's called Daydreams II and the minute we opened them up I fell in love! The fabrics look like beautiful paintings.

Aptly named Garden Daydreams.

This sunflower (and the peony below) measure approx. 25" x 22". Perfect for a large throw pillow.

This flower & the sunflower create the WOF (width of fabric) so if you didn't cut them apart they'd also make a very lovely pillowcase with one of the colorwash prints for a band.

We are rearranging the store to make room for all the new fabrics that have been coming in lately. Because of this many of our older fabrics are priced to go. If you happen to be in the area be sure to stop by to say hello & check out our clearance section.

As soon as I opened the book, saw the blocks and a picture of the finished quilt I immediately thought of Sweetwater's Hometown.

So I grabbed a jelly roll and started cutting.

I love the house!

To me the tree looks a little odd, but I think that's because it's blue instead of green.

I'm looking forward to working on this quilt more this week. I'll be sharing the other blocks as the week goes on.
