Quilt + Pillow = Quillow

Quillows have been around a long time, but they are enjoying a resurgence in popularity here at Lickety Stitch since we introduced them in Minky.  A snuggly blanket and pillow all in one - easy and quick to make - a perfect gift for anyone at any age.  What more could you ask?

Here you see it folded up into the attached pouch to make it into a pillow.
We made this one in a wildlife print on one side and a coordinating warm brown on the other side.  Just think of all the possibilities - Camo for the hunter, school colors for the team members (perfect for bus trips - these wash well) - juvenile prints for the kiddos, sophisticated colors for your girlfriends.  A quillow requires no quilting and only basic sewing skills.  A walking foot/even feed foot is helpful when working with Minky.
