Pineapple!
Do all these triangles scare the heck out of you? Well, Karin Hellaby developed the perfect solution. The Sew Simple Pineapple truly is sew simple!
Here's part of the demo we show our customers who visit the shop.
Place 2 squares of the same size right sides together. Mark an X corner to corner on the block that will be the first ring.
Stitch your 1/4" seam all the way around the square. Seriously, all the way around!
Carefully clip along the X & press open. This is the beginning of your pineapple.
Cut your next square & mark the X.
Place the new square onto your pineapple and repeat.
See the pineapple taking shape?
Continue adding squares until you reach the desired size. Sew Simple Pineapple will give you accurate square measurements to help you with sizing.
